I have been writing books since the spring of 2004. I have three young adult novels completed, and am working on writing the second two books of a trilogy. I am working on getting a book published at this time.

My books very slightly in genre. I love to write fantasy novels. There's just something about escaping into another world, or time that gets the creative juices flowing. I like to write about fairies, dragons, and magic. Its a good escape from reality.

The one book that differs from the rest is the one I am trying to get published. Its a book that several people can easily relate to, it was also the hardest I had to write. The book is about teen pregnancy, and since I was a teen mother, its very close to my heart. One day I hope to see this on the Hallmark Channel as a movie.

I developed and now lead a critique group for other local book writers in the Pensacola area. Its nice to get together with other adults who share the same interests and discuss our works of achievement.
