The Pharian Chronicles: The Magic Book

     Fifteen year old Brianna O’Brady is the princess of the Pharian’s. Brianna has reached the age of magic and flying. During her first magic lesson, she learns that only the royal family can practice magic. When she inquires about the rules, her parents can’t give her a good enough answer, so she takes matters into her own hands. She discovers a journal left behind by the founder of the Pharian race, Mary Catherine. She learns of spells and enchantments that make up her home and her people. She also learns of a magic book that was buried with Mary Catherine on another island. Intrigued, Brianna and three of her friends set out on an incredible journey in search of the magic book.

During their journey, Brianna is haunted by a mysterious figure, and obstacles stand in their way, but the teenagers are not ready to give up, or are they?  Hours turn into days, days turn into weeks, and soon they find that they have been gone from home longer than planned. Brianna follows clues that lead her to family she never knew about, and learns more of her family’s history. Things begin to look up for the friends. They continue to follow the clues until they think they find what they had been searching for. Do they find the magic book? Do they ever get back home?

         Emily was a normal fifteen year old living a normal life, until the day she met Willow, an eight year old fairy, who is lost and needs help getting back home. Emily agrees to help the young fairy and the set off to another world hidden within an oak tree. The journey went well until an evil sorceress conjures up a storm that causes Emily and Willow to seek shelter in a dark cave. When the cave entrance collapses, they have to find another way out, and realize that they are lost.

            With the help of a centaur and Minotaur, Emily and Willow finally reach the fairy village. It is then that Emily learns that her best friend had been in Tillian before, and the sorceress hated intruders and was punishing all the creatures for allowing them to be there. Emily is asked for further assistance to get help get rid of the sorceress’ powers. Now Emily has to go home and recruit her family for the dangerous mission ahead. Will she succeed in convincing her family to go to Tillian with her? Will they succeed in freeing the creatures of Tillian from the evil sorceress?

          Isabelle is an honor student and was involved in her high school marching band. Like most perfect lives, something has to change. After her sixteenth birthday, Isabelle began to date. Her boyfriend Roger was a gentleman and cared for her dearly; or did he? When another side of Roger begins to show, Isabelle gets scared and ends their relationship, but its too late. Isabelle is pregnant!

    Isabelle now has to tell her parents and make the biggest decision of her life, what will she do with the baby? Once she decides to keep her baby, her new focus is changing her life. She now has to finish high school and carry on life as normal as she can. Will she be able to carry out a normal life for her baby? Will she prove to all other teen parents that being a teen parent is not the end of the world?
